China Hosts Int'l Telecommunication Exhibition
China International Exposition of Telecommunication Equipment and Technology opened Tuesday in Beijing.
Nearly 600 enterprises from 20 countries and regions are attending the five-day expo, which is one of the largest and most influential telecommunication exhibitions in Asia.
Covering a floor space of 55,000 square meters, the expo exhibits almost every aspect of telecommunication, including public information service, Internet information service and transmission technology and equipment.
The technologies featuring the third generation (3G) telecommunication, including WAP service, IP technology and GPRS are the most eyes-catching at the exhibition.
The expo is sponsored by The Ministry of Information Industry and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.
