China to Attend Post-Forum Dialogue Meeting of South Pacific Forum

Chinese Vice-Foreign Minister Yang Jiechi will attend, as representative of the Chinese government, the 12th Post-Forum Dialogue Meeting of the 31st South Pacific Forum in Tarawa, the capital of Kiribati on October 31, at the invitation of the chairperson of the South Pacific Forum and the heads of the member states.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhu Bangzao told a press conference Tuesday that this is the 11th time that China sends government officials to the forum since it became a dialogue partner of the South Pacific Forum in 1989.
