China's 11th National Book Fair Closes

The 11th National Book Fair closed in Nanjing Monday.

The fair, held in this capital city of east China's Jiangsu province, featured more than 10,000 publications from 1,500 publishing houses across the country.

Due to unique designs, thorough promotion and high-tech methods used during the 12 days of exhibition, its sales volume totaled 808 million yuan, a new record.

Over 2.5 million people visited the book fair.

Twelve other cities in the province also organized activities to echo the book fair.
