Largest Sino-Foreign Cooperation Loan Contract Signed in Sichuan
After the negotiation between Sun Changji, vice governor of Bank of China and Ye Sunbin, district president in China of USA Enron Corp Ltd, a loan contract worth of 13.8 billion yuan was signed on Sunday on the project of technology reconstruction for Chengdu Heat and Power Plant (phase II) of Sichuan Jialing Electricity and Power Corp Ltd, a holding corporation by USA Enron Corp Ltd .
Sources said it was the largest sino-foreign cooperation contract in Sichuan with the largest amount of financing investment into transnational corporations by Sichuan financial industry.
Sichuan Jialin Electricity and Power Corp Ltd is a holding company controlled by USA Enron Corp Ltd with Sichuan Provincial Electricity and Power Cooperation as a jointly investor from China side. The successful cooperation between transnational companies and banks symbolized the great step forward in the support of the economy of Sichuan moved by Bank of China
The establishment of the project of the phase two will provide the output in value of 40 billion yuan in Sichuan by offering the region of Chengdu with the stable and dependable supply of heat and power.
