HK Chief Executive to Pay Duty Visit to Beijing
Chief Executive of the
Hong Kong
Special Administrative Region Tung Chee Hwa will leave for
Beijing
on Thursday for his annual duty visit, a government spokesman announced on Saturday.
During his stay in Beijing, Tung will call on leaders of the central government. And the chief executive will return on Friday, the spokesman said.
During the absence of Tung, Administrative Secretary Anson Chan will assume the duties of the Chief Executive.
