Sino-Japanese IT Cooperation, Products Expo Concluded
The two-day exhibition on Japanese information technology and Sino-Japanese cooperation products, jointly sponsored by the State Development Planning Commission and the Japanese Ministry of International Trade and Industry, was concluded October 19 in the Great Hall of the People of Beijing.

A high-tech exchange and achievement exhibition held by the two countries, it showed visitors various advanced technologies and products of IT, providing people with a chance to acquaint themselves with the trend of international technology of informationization.

A total of eleven Japanese multinationals including Fujitsu, Toshiba, Hitachi and Panasonic, NTT DoCoMo participated in the expo, and the products produced cooperatively by China and Japan were on show, including the tele-medical system, tele-education system and agriculture information system. Some advanced Japanese information technology and facilities were also on display.

During the exhibition, lectures of special topics concerning Sino-Japanese information technology and Japanese enterprises were given to visitors.

This exhibition will serve as a bridge for the cooperation between China and Japan in the field of information technology, serve for the further communication and cooperation between relevant organizations and enterprises of the two countries and create an environment for new cooperation.
