Chinese Vice-Premier Li Meets German Scientists

Li Lanqing
met Friday with a delegation of scientists from
Germany
and exchanged views with them on the exchange and cooperation in science and technology between China and Germany.
Led by Ernst-Ludwig Winnacker, chairman of the German Association for Research (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft), the German delegation is here to attend the formal opening ceremony of the Sino-German Center for Research Promotion.
The center was jointly built in the Chinese capital by the two sides.
