Minor Earthquake Jolts Qinghai in Northwest China
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter scale jolted Xinghai County of northwest China's
Qinghai
Province, at 17:12 (
Beijing
Time) today, according to the China Seismological Bureau.
The epicenter was located at 35.3 degrees north latitude and 99.5 degrees east longitude, the bureau said this evening, adding that there is no report of damages or casualties as yet.
