Macao Holds International Trade, Investment Fair
The five-day Fifth Macao International Trade and Investment Fair was launched Friday at the Macao Landmark Conference and Exhibition Center.
The fair accommodates a total of 206 booths set up by participators from the inland areas of China, the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions, and those from another 15 countries and territories.
The fair puts special emphasis on information technology, said Lee Peng Hong, president of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, the principal organizer of the fair.
He noted that under the circumstances of more economic cooperation, Macao plays a bigger role in bridging up the enterprises in the inland areas of China with those in Europe and Portuguese-speaking countries.
A number of lectures, seminars and business talks will also be held in the fair which will last till October 24.
