Edelman Launches Public Relations Website in China
The Edelman Public Relations company has launched its China public relations industry web portal www.chinaprnews.com in Beijing.
Richard Edelman, president and chief executive officer of Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, said at the launching ceremony that the company has committed itself to furthering the development of public relations in China.
"We are confident that chinaprnews.com will further empower industry professionals and their practice of our craft," he said.
Edelman marked the company's 15th anniversary of operations in China on Thursday.
Timothy C. Heberlein, managing director of Edelman China, said that the public relations industry in China has grown at a rapid pace.
"Chinaprnews.com represents a unique gathering site for seasoned PR veterans and newcomers alike to share resources and create community. We are pleased to make this level of contribution to the industry in China," Heberlein said.
