China's PC Market Booming in Second Quarter

According to IDC (Internet Data Center)'s statistics lately released, a PC market boom had been boosted in China during the second quarter for a growth of 36.8% was recorded. Home-use PC, in particular, had reported over 15% increase or a growth of 78.7% over the same period last year, showing great competitive presence in domestic market.

Things have been all the more so with computer manufacturers in China, which not only firmly occupy the first three positions in sales volume but have also shown much improved performance. By PC market sale, Legend realized an increase of 107.7%, Founder 111.8%, and Hisense, as much high as 146.9%.

The second quarter almost followed first quarter's sales pattern distinguished for a booming Internet computers market being developed. Meantime, student net PCs, led by Hisense's "seashell", was also a powerful team marching toward a household consumption market.
