China Automobile Union to Hold Mass Tournament

2001 World Roof Automobile Challenge, China Automobile Union's first mass tournament, will be held May 27 to June 22, 2001. Participants from China and abroad will run across nine cities/provinces including Beijing Municipality and Hebei Province.

Automobile exhibitions will also be held in six cities including Zhengzhou, Xi'an, Lanzhou, Lhasa, Yinchuan, and Hohhot. The Organization Committee will provide same brand cross-country racing cars needed.

The mass tournament will be a new major work for China Automobile Union and it will also be a new focus of various kinds of automobile race. For this kind of automobile racing does not focus on keen competition, it will attract more automobile fans to join in.
