China Heads Group B

China Heads Group B
China took the lead of the Asian Championship group B despite being held to goalless draw by Kuwait at Tripoli Olympic stadium; Kuwait claimed the 2nd spot of the same group.

China's coach, 'Bora' Milutinovic, said he was pleased with his team's performance and the score for all three games because the average rate of goals was two per game.

Kuwait's coach, Dusan Uhrin, on the other hand, said he was not pleased with the result because they needed only one goal to win. But he is only satisfied with the performance of the strikers, although they still lack real punch up-front. Right now, Uhrin is looking forward to the possibility of a match against Saudi Arabia in the next round. He will now try to help his team get over the problem they have scoring goals.
