New Learning Center Set up in Shanghai

A new training base for technical professionals was opened Wednesday in China's largest industrial city, Shanghai.

The learning center was set up by the world's largest auto parts producer Delphi Automotive Systems and the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation.

The Shanghai Learning Center provides 70 courses for business-people, and is aimed at people from Shanghai and southeast China's coastal areas. Those trained at the center will learn up-to-date knowledge concerning quality control, auto engineering technology and human resources.

Beijing-based Qinghua University, a leading university in China, will provide teachers and textbooks for the center, located at the Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation, one of China's three largest car producers.
