National Shooting Championships Started in Xi'an
2000 National Shooting Championships started October 17 in Xi'an,
Shanxi
Province, as a contest ever launched at the highest level in China after the Sydney Olympics.
290 coaches and shooters of 35 teams from various parts of China and PLA will compete in 13 events including men's 60-bullet air rifle, men's 60-bullet air pistol, and women's 40-bullet air rifle.
