News Pieces Popularizing Political Consultative Mechanism Awarded
Outstanding news pieces popularizing China's political consultative mechanism were awarded Tuesday in Beijing.
The first prize was presented to six pieces, the second prize to 35 and the third prize to 54, according to the judging committee affiliated with the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC).
The awarded news stories are of a very high standard, according to the appraising committee of the news pieces.
Yang Rudai and Zhou Tienong, both vice-chairmen of the CPPCC National Committee, and Nan Zhenzhong, editor-in-chief of Xinhua News Agency, attended the ceremony.
