China's Revenue from Major Taxes Rises Sharply

China's revenue from major taxes increased sharply in the first nine months of this year, spokesman of the Ministry of Finance Wang Jun said at a press conference Tuesday morning in Beijing.

According to the spokesman, the government's revenue from value-added tax, tariff, stamp tax on securities trading and enterprises' income tax rose 22.4 percent, 32 percent, 81.6 percent and 31 percent, respectively.
