Sino-Vietnamese Youth Forum Starts

The Communist Youth League of China (CYLC) and the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam started Tuesday to jointly organize a Sino-Vietnamese Youth Forum.

During the forum, more than 200 Chinese and Vietnamese young delegates are scheduled to discuss education, employment, rights protection and cooperation among the young people of the two nations.

Zhou Qiang, first secretary of the CYLC Central Committee, said that the forum will help young people in China and Vietnam to deepen their mutual understanding and improve friendship.

He urged the youth to make further contribution to the socialist construction in the two countries.

Vu Trong Kim, first secretary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Vietnam, said that young people should work to strengthen and develop Sino-Vietnamese relations in the coming new century.
