Zhu's ROK Visit Conducive to China-ROK Friendship: FM Spokesman

Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji will start his visit to the Republic of Korea (ROK) today after a six-day official visit to Japan, Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesman Zhu Bangzao said Tuesday at a regular press conference.

During his stay in ROK, Premier Zhu will also attend the Third Asia-Europe Meeting to be held in Seoul.

Zhu's visit will help advance Sino-ROK relations and his participation in the Asia-Europe Meeting will promote the friendship and cooperation between Asia and Europe, the spokesman said.
