China's First Homemade CD Copy Production Line Debuts in Suzhou
China's first Samlink-CDll copy production line was set up in Suzhou Xinguanglian CD Factory on October 16. The birth of the production line demonstrated China's CD copy enterprises' success in making new stable equipment with Chinese handling interface which is easy to maintain.
CD copying is an indispensable link of electronic audiovisual publication. In recent years, with the rapid development of information industry represented by computer and internet technology, China has become one of the countries with the largest demand for compact discs in the world. However, for a long period of time, China's CD copy enterprises depended on imported production lines. Suzhou Sanli Audiovisual Equipment Co. Ltd., which built itself up by starting with CD equipment sales and technological services, began the study on CD copy production lines independently in 1999. The first production line passed the test in September this year.
On the delivery spot of the production line Monday, more than 100 journalists and publishers organized a special contest between the imported production line and the homemade one. They played the CD products made by the two types of lines and made a comparison between the effects of the products. The video effects are exactly the same and the parameters of the equipment tested are entirely coincident. The qualified rate of the homemade CD copy production line exceeded 95 percent, reaching the set standard.
