Shanghai Open Tennis Championships Started
Shanghai Xili Open Tennis Championships, having been held once in a year, formally started October 16 at Shanghai Xian'xia Tennis Center and before this was a men and women players' lots drawing ceremony called on Oct. 15, afternoon.
Lots drawing has first brought two Chinese men players Zhang Yu and Zhu Benqiang respectively to take on their American and Zimbabwean opponents at Xian'xia Center.
Shanghai Xili Company has been the first time to launch women's open tennis championship in China and this has attracted many outstanding women players to join in, including Chinese players Yi Jingqie, Li Na, and Li Ting.
