More than 150 experts from China, Japan, the Republic of Korea, the United States and other countries gathered Monday in Nanjing, capital city of east China's Jiangsu Province, to discuss the development of Asia and law in the coming century.
During the 3-day conference "Development of Asia and Law in the 21st Century," 15 law experts will give keynote reports on the history and current situation of the development of law, philosophy and other fields of social sciences in the 20th century.
They will also discuss the development of law and philosophy in Asia in the 21st century, according to the organizing committee.
The meeting is jointly sponsored by the China Branch of the International Association for the Philosophy of Law and Social Philosophy, the Nanjing Normal University, and an institute of the China Law Society.
