Sinopec to Be Added in Hang Seng China Enterprises Index
China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec) will be added as a constituent stock of the Hang Seng China Enterprises Index (HSCEI) with effect from Friday, announced HSI Services Limited Monday.
The inclusion is in line with the objective of the compilation of the HSCEI to track the overall performance of all H-shares listed in
Hong Kong
.
Sinopec will be listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong on October 19, 2000. With its inclusion, there will be 49 constituent stocks in the HSCEI.
