China Xisha Weather Service Network Opens

In mid-September, China Hainan Xisha Weather Service Networks have been successfully connected between army units stationed in the Xisha Islands.

The Nanhai region has a complicated landforms structure. The weather there is changeable. In the past, each time before the local army of the Xisha Islands carried out the tasks of drilling and engaging in war preparedness duty, they had to assign special persons and cars to the weather observatory to get weather materials, bringing many inconveniences to the performance of these tasks and daily life. The opening of the weather service Intranet has not only realized the real-time transmission of weather reports, but also has vigorously improved the timeliness and effectiveness of weather services, this indicates that that the army units stationed in the Xisha Islands are advancing along the hi-tech direction.
