China Sets Up Property Management Institute

China Property Management Institute, a non-profit organization under the supervision and direction of the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, was set up in Beijing Sunday.

Members of the institute are experts in property management and termite prevention from all over the country.

"With the deepening of the urban housing reform, property management has developed rapidly, but there still remain some illegal practices," said Xie Jiajin, head of the institute, at Sunday's opening ceremony for the establishment of the institute.

In order to improve the overall level of property management, the State Council has decided to establish the institute to administer relevant affairs.

The institute will conduct investigation and surveys on property management, sponsor special training programs, organize seminars and develop the international market.

More than 1,000 experts from all over the country attended Sunday's opening ceremony.
