Over 100,000 Business People to Attend 88th Guangzhou Export Commodities Fair

It is expected that more than 100,000 business people will attend the 88th China (Autumn) Export Commodities Fair that will open on October 15 in Guangzhou, China's southern gate to the outside world.

Sources from the organizing committee said that there will be 47 trading delegations at the fair, with six industry halls and 30 exhibition centers.

There will be more than 7,500 business booths, a rise of 4.6 percent more than the 87th China Export Commodities Fair held in spring this year, said the sources, adding more home appliances and electronic products, electro-mechanical commodities bearing high technology and high added value, textiles and garments will be exhibited at this fair, while the volume of light industrial crafts will be slashed.

The regular fair has created a golden season for the service trade in Guangzhou, capital of Guangdong Province.

According to local sources, all the three-star hotels in Guangzhou are booked solid and the sale of guest rooms in five-star and four-star hotels has fared better than before.

The 88th fair will last for 12 days and end on October 26.
