Saudi Airplane Hijacked to SyriaA Saudi airplane en route from Saudi Red Sea city of Jeddah to London has been hijacked and directed to Damascus.It is learned that the Boeing 777 was hijacked soon after it left Egyptian airspace at about 3 p.m. (1300 GMT) and ordered to change course to the Syrian capital. Radio contact with the airliner has since been lost. |
