Chinese Top Prosecutor Meets Counterparts from Eight CountriesHan Zhubin, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) of China met Friday with top prosecutors and judges from Angola, Yugoslavia, Pakistan,Bahrain, Myanmar, Nepal, Laos, Cambodia and signed eight agreements with them respectively, pledging more joint efforts to fight crimes.The eight top prosecutors and judges are here to attend the Eighth World Conference of Asia Crime Prevention Foundation. They are Attorney-General Domingos Culolo of Angola, General Procurator VukaAsin Jokanovic of Yugoslavia, General Procurator Aziz Munshi of Pakistan, Minister of Justice and Islamic Affairs Sheikh Abdullah Bin Khalid Al-Khalifa of Bahrain, Attorney-General U Tha Dun of Myanmar, General Procurator Badri Bahadur Karki of Nepal, General Procurator Khampan Philavong of Laos and Justice Minister Ouk Vithun of Cambodia. Han briefed the guests on China's procuratorial system and expressed his wish to strengthen cooperation with the eight countries in the field. After the meeting, Han signed eight agreements with the eight counterparts to promote procuratorial cooperation respectively, committing themselves to strengthening joint efforts to combat transnational crimes. |
