Beijing Communicate Debuts Digital Broadcast Systems
Beijing Communicate Technology Inc. has unveiled a digital video broadcasting (DVB) code transmitting and receiving system and a digital broadcast conditional receiving system.
The DVB code transmitting and receiving system, which is complying with the DVB standards, supports MPEG-2, satellite TV, cable TV and earth digital broadcasting. It likewise supports video monitoring, videoconferencing and other multimedia telecommunications through broadband Internet.
The digital broadcast conditional receiving system is claimed to be the first product with IP rights, the firm said. The system incorporates schedule management, network technology, digital compressing code, adding/releasing disturbance, adding/releasing encrypted algorithm, set-top box technology, smart-card technology, user management, program management and payment management.
