Chinese Soccer Team to Take on ROK in Asian CupThe 12th Asian Cup Soccer Tournament started off in Lebanon Thursday.Altogether 12 soccer teams joined in, divided into three groups. Iraqi, Thai, Lebanese and Iranian teams are in Group A; Chinese, Kuwaiti, Indonesian, and ROK teams in Group B; Japanese, Saudi Arabian, Uzbekistan, and Qatari teams in Group C. According to rules, top eight teams out of group matches will play in single-round elimination match. The champions will compete on October 29. The Chinese team will first play with its old opponent ROK team at Beijing time 22:05 on October 13. |
