Chinese, Japanese PMs Hold Talks in Tokyo

Visiting Chinese Premier Zhu Rongji and Japanese Prime Minister Yoshiro Mori began talks on Friday morning to discuss ways to promote friendly and cooperative relations.

The meeting was held at the Japanese prime minister's official residence in Tokyo.

Zhu arrived here Thursday for a six-day official visit to Japan.
