CPPCC Vice-Chairman Meets Ecuadorian Delegation
Hu Qili, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met Friday with an Ecuadorian delegation of entrepreneurs led by Vice-Mayor Luis Parra of the Ecuadorian city of Guayaquil.
Parra said that the purpose of their China trip is to discuss with Chinese entrepreneurs ways to expand economic and trade cooperation, and to learn more about China's economic growth.
Hu briefed the visitors on China's reform and opening-up drive as well as its plans to fully develop the western regions.
He expressed the hope that business communities of the two countries will explore more ways of cooperation in the years ahead.
