S.Korea to Open Two More Business-Related Offices in ChinaThe Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency said Thursday that it will open two new offices in China before the nation's entry into the World Trade Organization (WTO).The agency, which has already had offices in the cities of Beijing, Guangzhou, Dalian, Shanghai and Chengdu, will open an office in Qingdao, a port city in east China, Friday and another in Wuhan in central China next Monday. Qingdao is seen as the most attractive investment area for South Korea due to daily plane and ship transportation between the city and South Korea, which has some 1,700 South Korean businesses operating in the city. Wuhan, the largest city in central China, is well-known for its auto, machinery and shipping industries in China. South Korea's LG Electronics, Daewoo Heavy Industries, SK Global and Hyundai Motor have investments in the city. |
