Landslide Kills Over 20 Workers in SW China
More than 20 workers at a phosphorite mine in Mianzhu, southwest China's
Sichuan
Province, were killed by a landslide this afternoon.
The mine operates in three shifts. Most of the people killed were off-duty workers taking rest in work sheds. The mine is 40 kilometers northeast of Mianzhu.
The cause of the landslide is still unknown.
