2,200 Engineering Experts Meet in China
Over 2,200 engineering experts from around the world began their conference on engineering and technological sciences Wednesday as Chinese President Jiang Zemin is making an opening address.
During the four-day International Conference on Engineering and Technological Sciences, the experts are scheduled to discuss in eight different sessions on the following subjects: advanced manufacturing and vehicle technology, information technology in the 21st century, advanced materials, energy strategy and technology for sustainable development, civil engineering, technological innovation and sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, and biochip technologies.
