Heroin Traffickers Seized in Northeast China City

The police in Haicheng, in northeast China's Liaoning province, recently seized two heroin traffickers and confiscated 102 grams of heroin from them.

A drug-user, surnamed Zhang, was frequently found buying drugs from the neighboring Anshan city earlier this month. The police later persuaded Zhang to cooperate with them in seizing the drug traffickers, Wang Baomin and Yao Jichun.

The two men have been detained as criminal suspects. According to Chinese law, a person who has trafficked 50 grams of heroin can receive the death sentence.
