Int'l Symposium on Construction Management Opens in Tianjin
The fourth international symposium on construction management and social economic development opened Monday in Tianjin, a leading port city of north China.
More than 50 experts and scholars from universities in England, South Africa, Hong Kong, Taiwan and other countries and regions attended the three-day symposium.
The symposium focuses on topics as construction management and China's west development, international practice of project management and the application of IT in construction.
The symposium is helpful to the improvement of urban construction standard in China, said Wang Dehui, vice mayor of Tianjin City, adding that it is significant to ensuring value increase and preservation of construction project in the country.
