Macao to Hold Int'l Trade, Investment Fair in Late October
The Fifth Macao International Trade and Investment Fair to be held here from October 20 to 24 has met with active responses, organizers said at a press conference Monday.
Up to now, the number of booths totals 196, including 46 to be set up by participators from the inland areas of China and 22 booths by business people from 15 countries and territories. The remaining booths will be occupied by business people in Macao.
The fair will consist of several exhibition areas for business people from different territories or industries, said Lee Peng Hong, president of the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute.
He noted that the fair this time will particularly put priority on the development of information industry. A number of lectures will be given during the fair to provide more business information.
