Chinese NPC Vice-Chairman Meets EFG Bank Chairman

Xu Jialu, vice-chairman of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC), met Monday with Spiro Latsis, chairman of the Board of the European Financial Group (EFG) Bank.

The Geneva-based bank set up a representative office in Beijing last January.

Latsis and his party are visiting China at the invitation of the China Association for International Friendly Contacts.
