Siberian Tigress Gives Birth to 5 Cubs

A Siberian tigress living in a breeding center in northeast China has recently given births to five cubs.

The eight-year-old tigress is experiencing motherhood for her fifth time. She has given birth to a total of 23 cubs.

A tigress in captivity normally gives birth to a litter of four cubs, while a wild tigress normally gives birth to a litter of three cubs.

The tigress, which is 2.3 meters long and weighs more than 200 kilograms, is living in China's largest Siberian tiger breeding center, located in Heilongjiang Province.

At present, the tigress and her cubs are in good condition.

Siberian tigers are on the verge of extinction, with only 500 left in the world.
