During the National Day Holiday, a consultation activity for readers on 2001 mail-delivery newspapers was jointly conducted by Guangdong Newspaper Publishing Bureau, Guangzhou Post Bureau and Zhuhai Post Bureau in Guangzhou and Zhuhai.
The People's Daily, especially the supplement periodical on Olympics received great favor from the broad masses of readers and many readers even subscribed the paper on the spot.
According to a rough estimate, Guangzhou Tianhe, Yuexiu, Zhuhai and Liwan Districts have already overfulfilled the next year's subscription of the People's Daily.
