DPRK Offers to Fly South Koreans to Pyongyang

DPRK planned to fly South Koreans to Pyongyang for the anniversary of the founding of the Communist party on October 10, according to a report by the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).

"A plane from the North is expected to arrive at Kimpo airport (in Seoul) at 9 a.m. on October 9 to bring them to Pyongyang," KCNA said.

But Seoul"s Unification Minister Park Jae-kyu later said it would hold talks with the North on Monday on how to get the South Koreans to Pyongyang.
