Road Accident Kills 10 Kenyan Students
Ten students were killed on Saturday in a bus-truck collision near a village about 25 kilometers away from Kenya's capital Nairobi, the major newspaper Sunday Standard reported.
Fifteen others were taken to hospital, four of them in critical conditions after suffering severe head injuries, according to the paper.
The Nissan bus was ripped apart by the impact while the driver of the truck escaped with only a fractured leg while the loader was unhurt.
The cause of the accident is under investigation, said police.
