Earthquake Hits Tibet
An earthquake measuring 5.0 on the Richter Scale jolted the Xainza County in the Ngaqu Prefecture of
Tibet
Autonomous Region, at 14:14 (
Beijing
time) October 8.
According to China Seismological Bureau, the epicenter of the quake is located at 30.6 degrees north latitude and 88.2 degrees east longitude.
No further information has been available so far.
