Fujian Electronic Information Firm Established
The Fujian Electronic Information Group Co., Ltd., one of the top 10 newly-established state-owned firms in southeast China's Fujian Province, officially became operational put October 7.
The company, with a registered capital of 790 million yuan, involving 76 enterprises, also has some of its shares held by local firms, such as the Fujian JVC Company, the Fujian Hitachi, and the Star Computing Company.
Aiming to improve Fujian's information industry, the corporation will concentrate its business on information technologies, including computers, software and integrated systems, digital satellite receivers and various optical lenses.
