Shanghai Manufactures More Information Products
The output of information products in Shanghai totaled 45.28 billion yuan in the first eight months of this year, up nearly 30 percent on an annual basis.
The sales income from information products was 47.45 billion yuan, up more than 30 percent, with profits of 4.22 billion yuan, up more than 50 percent, according to statistics.
Information products with a high output value include integrated circuits, radio parts, chemical information products, electronic vacuum devices and electronic products for daily use, local sources said.
Shanghai, the largest economic center in China, is speeding up the building of an "Information Port."
