Suggestions on Gem Widely Courted by CSRC
Entrusted by China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Shenzhen Stock Exchange (SZSE) held a symposium on Growth Enterprise Market Statute with overseas experts recently.
More than 100 attendees presented, including experts from the Stock Exchange and Clearing of Hong Kong, the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Gem listing Committee, overseas securities company, venture capital companies, law firms, and accounting firms.
It was reported that a draft statute has already been formed through a long time elaborate preparations. Now 9 statues are seeking for advice, including auditing rules, approving procedures, trading rules and listing rules, interim methods on sponsorship system, auditing committee and the standard form of application, prospectus, announcement, which basically cover all the regulations needed by Growth Enterprise Market.
During the symposium, people from CSRC and SZSE introduced the background, content and the difference between the main and second board and the comments and suggestions needed for the stipulation of the regulations to the participants.
And the experts warmly discussed on the listing system, information disclosure and some other hot issues of GEM. They also provided their experience and lessons learned from the overseas stock markets of the same kind and submitted a lot of valuable advice and suggestions.
