Beijing Get-together Celebrates Normalization of Sino-Japanese Diplomatic Ties

A group of Chinese and Japanese people gathered Friday to celebrate the 28th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

The get-together, hosted by the Beijing Sino-Japanese Folk Culture-Art Exchange & Promotion Association, was attended by people from the association, famous Chinese artists, diplomats from the Japanese embassy to China, and representatives from Japanese companies in Beijing.

Participants reviewed the achievements made in the bilateral relations over the past 28 years and expressed the hope that the association will continue to act as a "bridge" in the exchanges of culture and arts between the two countries.

The association is composed of experts, artists, and senior journalists.
