CPPCC Vice-Chairman Meets Delegation from Hong Kong
Vice-Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Luo Haocai met Friday with a delegation from Hong Kong.
The delegation consisted of 39 Hong Kong alumni from the Ji'nan University in Guangzhou, capital of south China's Guangdong Province and the Overseas Chinese University in Quanzhou in southeast China's Fujian Province. Both universities mainly enroll overseas Chinese students.
Luo encouraged the members of the delegation from various industries in Hong Kong to promote cooperation and exchange between universities in the mainland and enterprises in Hong Kong.
The delegation was invited by the Ministry of Education and the Office of Overseas Chinese Affairs of the State Council.
