Tanzanian President to Visit China

At the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin, President Benjamin William Mkapa of the United Republic of Tanzania will come to China to attend the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation -- Ministerial Conference Beijing 2000,to be held in Beijing from October 10 to 12, 2000.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Sun Yuxi made the announcement at the regular press conference Thursday afternoon.
